I’ve been in business for the last 12 years and have always needed to have regular headshots (as hairstyles, fashion and markets change!) taken to include on websites and promotional material. Like many business women I used to find the whole experience of ‘posing’ for my photo a really painful, self conscious experience; akin with going to the dentist! I have even opted out on putting myself forward for some PR campaigns for my business just because I haven’t been happy with my photo and the thought of having another sitting just to get the press release off just used to fill me with horror. This was complete madness as this was potentially a great business opportunity so I was losing money just because I didn’t have a great photo to send the editor! That was before I met Lisa Roberts. My session with Lisa was so much fun and I loved the way she put me at ease. Not only was the session a really pleasurable experience (something I had never had before with any other photographer), she made really effective use of my time and money by getting me to bring different outfits and jewellery so I came away with three different headshots for me to use for different markets. For the first time in my life, instead of taking great pains to find an average, OK photo of me to go with, I was completely spoilt for choice with the number of possibilities. It was so hard to choose just three! That has never happened to me before and it gave me such a boost! So, apart from Lisa making me feel great about myself, putting my business head back on, I can’t recommend her highly enough as she represents great value for money and I know I’ll book in with her again on a regular basis as I need fresher shots taken. No more hunting around for a decent photographer!
