As a Relationship Coach and Mediator and someone who is on TV and in the media, it’s vital that I create an immediate relationship with prospective clients who visit my website. I must present myself in a way that inspires confidence, warmth and trust as well as revealing my personality. In four shots Lisa captured the essence of who I am and I have used the various images in appropriate places on my site. I would recommend Lisa not only as a fabulous photographer but also someone who really gets who you are and what you are about.

Most photos of me in the past have been of the "fixed grin" variety, with the result that I can't bear to look at them. But not so with Lisa. Her friendly but professional attitude succeeded in relaxing me right from the start of the session. She took so many lovely photos that I had difficulty in choosing the ones I liked best. I’ve been in business for the last 12 years and have always needed to have regular headshots (as hairstyles, fashion and markets change!) taken to include on websites and promotional material. Like many business women I used to find the whole experience of ‘posing’ for my photo a really painful, self conscious experience; akin with going to the dentist! I have even opted out on putting myself forward for some PR campaigns for my business just because I haven’t been happy with my photo and the thought of having another sitting just to get the press release off just used to fill me with horror. This was complete madness as this was potentially a great business opportunity so I was losing money just because I didn’t have a great photo to send the editor! That was before I met Lisa Roberts. My session with Lisa was so much fun and I loved the way she put me at ease. Not only was the session a really pleasurable experience (something I had never had before with any other photographer), she made really effective use of my time and money by getting me to bring different outfits and jewellery so I came away with three different headshots for me to use for different markets. For the first time in my life, instead of taking great pains to find an average, OK photo of me to go with, I was completely spoilt for choice with the number of possibilities. It was so hard to choose just three! That has never happened to me before and it gave me such a boost! So, apart from Lisa making me feel great about myself, putting my business head back on, I can’t recommend her highly enough as she represents great value for money and I know I’ll book in with her again on a regular basis as I need fresher shots taken. No more hunting around for a decent photographer!

Lisa made me feel completely comfortable and brought out the best expression for the message I wanted to portray. I used to be a portrait photographer so I am particularly fussy and I was impressed!! I have started using the images on my website and I believe it has already made a difference to the response.

Lisa made me feel instantly relaxed despite arriving feeling stressed out from arranging a big house move. She made me laugh and I liked her technique for getting me to relax my cheeks, which must have looked rather tense. She is open and easy to warm to, making a photo shoot more like a girly chat with a friend. I'm delighted with my pictures and can't wait to get them on my website and business card. I would recommend Lisa to anyone wishing to have a decent photo of them taken to look natural and at ease.
